A family company

Alfa Global Family has been at the forefront of global logistics, connecting freight forwarders around the world into a tightknit
community built on trust and collaboration. What sets Alfa apart is not just its industry expertise but its roots as a family
business.

The foundation of Alfa traces back to 1998, when Luc Huysmans and three like-minded co-founders launched Atlas
International Network. Over the years, as new companies joined and others departed, the network evolved and, in recent
years, became fully owned by the Huysmans family. In 2014, Lyanne Huysmans joined the company, marking the beginning
of a new chapter—both through leadership continuity and with new ideas.
